Line-up Experiment.

 The Giants are experiencing some troubles with RISP. They can't plate anyone from 2nd or 3rd base and it's beginning to be a problem. Consider that their biggest RBI producer, Pablo Sandoval,  is out for the next month (at least), and it is apparent that the Giants need to shake-up their line-up. Connor Gillaspie was called up from triple A, but he hasn't shown much, both offensively OR defensively. Any combination the Giants put on the field right now seems to struggle defensively, no matter what. Even Buster Posey hasn't looked comfortable at First base. So, what to do? Here's a suggestion;

1. Pagan CF
2. Arias 2B
3. Cabrera RF
4. Posey 3B
5. Belt 1B
6. Sanchez C
7. Pill LF
8. Crawford SS
9. Pitcher

 The big surprise here is putting Posey over at 3rd base. I dare anyone to claim that he's been above average or stellar at 1st base. We all have seen that Sanchez is good behind the plate AND he can hit! Belt actually started coming around when he got a little playing time and almost had his BA back up to .300. Belt is also a much better first baseman than Posey, hands down. So, until Pablo gets back, why not? Posey has the arm to make the throws from 3rd and he has the former experience of being a college shortstop. So again, why not? I would put Pill in there for brut strength alone, that guy can hit 30 HR's if given the opportunity.
 I believe the players are there for Bochy to create a line-up that can score. We are also conceding that the defense isn't going to be all that great, so get your best hitters out there and go for it!
 There's no doubt the Giants are once again snake bit this season. Bochy will have to be crafty in order to keep things together. Hopefully the team can rally and then when Pablo gets back make a run for the play-offs.
I have to admit, beating Clayton Kershaw last night was probably the biggest win for the Giants since the World Series. Let's see where they take it from here.
